Guidewires

Quick Contact

Guidewires are used to facilitate the placement of endourological instruments during diagnostic or interventional procedures. They can be used to bypass an immobile stone or to straighten a tortuous ureter, thereby facilitating the passage of instruments or access sheaths to the upper renal collecting system during endourological procedures. Easy advancement, smooth tracking, enhanced maneuverability, and rapid access are some of the characteristic features of the guide wires, which help to execute endourological procedures with greater control and precision.

The guidewires are available in various sizes, tip designs, surface coating, core materials and shaft rigidity. An ideal guide wire should require little flex in response to resistance, while requiring large force to perforate tissue.
